To promote disaster readiness and ensure the safety of everyone in the school community, an Unannounced Earthquake Drill was conducted on June 10, 2026, at exactly 9:25 AM. The activity aimed to strengthen the preparedness of learners, teachers, and school administrators in responding effectively during an earthquake emergency.

Without prior notice, the earthquake alarm was sounded, prompting learners and school personnel to immediately perform the proper “Duck, Cover, and Hold” procedure. After the simulated shaking stopped, students and staff calmly and orderly proceeded to their designated evacuation areas under the guidance of their teachers and disaster response teams.

The drill served as a practical exercise to assess the school’s readiness and to reinforce the importance of quick thinking, discipline, and cooperation during emergencies. It also provided an opportunity for the school community to review safety protocols and identify areas for improvement in disaster response.

Earthquakes can occur unexpectedly, making preparedness an essential responsibility for everyone. Through regular drills and continuous awareness campaigns, the school remains committed to fostering a culture of safety and resilience among learners and personnel.
