The school officially launched the National Women’s Month Celebration on March 2, 2026 through a Simple Kick-Off Activity conducted during the Flag Ceremony. The activity aimed to recognize and honor the vital role of women in society and to promote awareness of gender equality among learners and teachers in line with this year’s theme “Lead Like the Babaylans, Filipinas!” which highlights the strength, wisdom, and leadership of Filipino women.

The Flag Ceremony was conducted at the Covered Court with Grade 5 assigned to lead the activity. Teachers and pupils showed their support by wearing violet shirts/blouses, the official color symbolizing justice, dignity, and women’s empowerment. The All-Casting Women Version of the Philippine National Anthem was used as part of the celebration for the whole month of March.

School GAD Coordinator Mary Grace G. Garcia, Master Teacher I, delivered a stirring orientation. She emphasized respecting women’s rights, fostering equal opportunities, embracing inclusivity, and celebrating women’s contributions across society. “Leadership isn’t just for teachers or officials – it’s for anyone ready to drive positive change, no matter the challenges,” she declared.

Garcia previewed a lineup of upcoming activities to spark participation from all. She closed with a rousing call: “Let us live like Babaylans together, be united, and empower women – palakasin ang mga kababaihan!” – complete with a unifying hand gesture.

Photo documentation captured the excitement by grade level and section, freezing moments of school-wide solidarity. The kick-off was a resounding success, thanks to the cooperation of the school administration, teachers, and learners. It marked the start of a month-long celebration honoring women and promoting respect and equality in the school community.
