Lucena West 1 Elementary School successfully conducted its Early Registration for incoming Kindergarten, Grade 1, Alternative Learning System (ALS), and Special Needs Education (SNED) learners for School Year 2026–2027 on January 31, 2026, at 7:00 a.m.
The program formally began with an opening prayer, followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem. This was succeeded by the opening remarks of the school principal, Mr. Carlos V. Villaester, who warmly welcomed parents and guardians. In his message, Sir Villaester also shared a background on the Creative Curriculum, which will be implemented in the coming school year, highlighting the school’s commitment to child-centered and engaging learning experiences.
A meaningful message was then delivered by the Public Schools District Supervisor (PSDS) of West District, Dr. Ma. Consolacion V. Teñido, who emphasized the importance of early registration in ensuring proper planning and quality education for all learners.
Afterwards, Mrs. Aprille Rose G. Zingalawa, a Kindergarten teacher, clearly discussed the Early Registration guidelines for incoming Kindergarten pupils, guiding parents on the requirements and procedures. The program concluded with the closing remarks of Mrs. Mignon M. Ella, Master Teacher II of Grade 1, who expressed gratitude to everyone who participated and supported the activity.
Following the program, the registration proper was conducted smoothly, with teachers and school personnel assisting parents and guardians throughout the process.
